Many organizations are making the decision to move to cloud infrastructure rather than maintaining a presence in colo hosted and onsite premise datacentres.
The current worldwide financial climate has exacerbated this trend with rising energy costs and increased costs associated with infrastructure hardware and software.
For MSPs and CSPs, this shift in trend where customers are hosting their infrastructure and application services with cloud providers, introduces a different commercial methodology for how customers are maintaining their IT budgets both from a CAPEX and OPEX standpoint.
Unlike traditional IT infrastructure and services costs being fixed and often with additional discounts from manufacturers and vendors based on bulk buying, cloud costs are not fixed, rather they are consumption based. Even with purchasing defined consumption from cloud providers, there are services that will always vary in some degree when not properly monitored and optimized.
This presents MSPs and CSPs with an additional challenge, no longer is it about supporting traditional infrastructure hardware, operating systems and applications, a new layer of complexity is how the MSP/CSP can help their customers manage costs within Azure.
This webinar will outline where Turbo360 can help MSPs and CSPs provide value add for running FaaS (FinOps as a Service) operations, help identify cost savings, overspend and optimize costs in Azure.
Mike Birch a senior product consultant at Turbo360 brings 20 years experience working in the MSP and CSP space, starting from humble beginnings as a 1st/2nd line service desk analyst, moving through the career ladder from 3rd line, to consultant to solution architect. From supporting customers, to deploying new infrastructure services, designing solutions and providing technical presales Mike has worked through the different career levels of working for MSPs and direct Tier 1 CSP.
As the tech world progressed from traditional on premise server deployments to modern Azure cloud services, Mike encountered the challenges of shifting from a build the infrastructure based on a budget to having to build solutions with cost consideration a dominating factor in solutions business operate in the Azure cloud.
Mike offers valuable and relatable insights into how MSPs and CSPs can use Turbo360 to achieve the modern challenges of customer Azure cost control, monitoring and optimization regardless of scale.
