Many organizations are making the decision to move to cloud infrastructure rather than maintaining a presence in colo hosted and onsite premise datacentres.

The current worldwide financial climate has exacerbated this trend with rising energy costs and increased costs associated with infrastructure hardware and software.

Mike Birch a senior product consultant at Turbo360 brings 20 years experience working in the MSP and CSP space, starting from humble beginnings as a 1st/2nd line service desk analyst, moving through the career ladder from 3rd line, to consultant to solution architect. From supporting customers, to deploying new infrastructure services, designing solutions and providing technical presales Mike has worked through the different career levels of working for MSPs and direct Tier 1 CSP.

As the tech world progressed from traditional on premise server deployments to modern Azure cloud services, Mike encountered the challenges of shifting from a build the infrastructure based on a budget to having to build solutions with cost consideration a dominating factor in solutions business operate in the Azure cloud.
